Another 'un'inspiring day..

Last night, i slept at 2 am.. no wonder i am having hallucinations in the office..

i lifted my arms, yawned..

As i looked up, i saw my hands..

i should say, they are indeed beautiful..

Wanna Slap?

I have this lovely pair of gifts for almost 23 years now (by the way.. i'm 22).. No doubts they have given me all the joy and pain in all these years..

I played all sorts of games with it..

Spinnit!

I had accidents with it..

Ouch: And i thought McGuyver was a genius..

Of course.. i've had wonderful moments with it..

So, As all creations of God has its own functions, what do these protruding individuals, a.k.a. fingers really do?

So let me tell you..

Thumbs, our most useful member, is used to make thumb prints.. (chinese: 拇指打印... Well, in CSI, it often betrays the master..)

Good ah?!

The index finger, is famous for, in chinese saying, poke people's back.. (chinese: 捅您的背后.. )

This way! *poke*

The middle finger, if absolutely IMPORTANT for expressing ourselves, as it helps us 'ask your mother's well-being' (chinese: 问后您的老母.. )

How's auntie doing?

Our fourth finger, they call it the 'sweet' finger in Malay, is often used for putting on our wedding ring.. how sweet.. (chinese: 佩带婚戒.. )

Symbol of tie: Beginning of torture, end of single life..

And finally, last but not least our most important Mr. Little finger, is utmost important for its function of cleaning our nose (chinese: 掘鼻子.. nose miner..)

Even the best gold miners have to give way to this little guy..

So, as these 'un'inspiring thoughts filled my day, i hope that this will help cheer your day instead..

All these are inspired from my idol, Mr. Stephen Chow, in one of his very lame 90's cantonese movie.. Thanks Stephen, you really coloured up my life..

SKJ: Miri.. (musim 1)

----------------------------------------
Disclaimer: Boredom can be one very good source of creativity.. like this one..
----------------------------------------

Havin been engrossed to the recent forensics detective series, the CSI, i suddenly see everything happening around me as a crime scene..

Behold; SKJ: Miri (Siasatan Kawasan Jenayah), first season..

My first scene: My office..

My first find: A suspicious 'button'..

My first initial movement: Tagged it immediately as evidence..

My initial hypothesis: Someone must have lost a button, i presume a trousers button, which happened due to over eating..

Evidence: A potential murder weapon, or a victim's clue..

Anyways, all these are nonsense.. i did it cos i was really bored.. damn.. well at least this sums up my day..

Journey to the Land Beneath the Winds.. (Day 1)

----------------------------------------------
Disclaimer: Before you really go on, let me tell you that this is one hell of a long post, so proceed at your own risk.. haha..
----------------------------------------------

It was last two days since I came back from KK, not really to have a holiday but in fact to attend a meeting cum seminar organized by my company.

Our flight there I can say is farkin really early, 7:45 am, as the sun came up, we had our asses packed for airport as we need to check in an hour before the flight.

My ride: Hey, gone thru some local-comic-artiste pimpin’?
Anyways, the journey was not as intriguing as a discovery made by a colleague of mine on the plane..

Find of the day: What the heck.. two lost screws?

We hit the KK land exactly at 8:45 am, around 45 minutes of hellish ride on the ‘two-missing-screw’ plane and we went straight to our crib to drop off our weights.

After dropping stuffs off, we started our new quest; quest to search for the KK infamous yue wuat (fresh fish fillet) noodles. Moving around took us an hour before we really find our treasure.. and as the reward, a ‘golden’ bowl of yue wuat fish noodles (no joking, even the noodles are made of fish meat!)

Treasure of Yuan Li Coffee Shop: 1 hour of walking, 20 minutes of heaven..

Its not long after we finished our bowl of ‘heaven’, we found out that we are stuck in the shop as it was raining outside. No choice, we had to go back using a cab.

So we dropped off at Centre Point and shopped around there. Obviously, I was quite tight for the month so I had no choice but to do what all guys do when their wallets are dry: window shopping. As the ladies moved around grabbing what they can, me and several other guys (including my dad) just moved around with our hands kept in our pockets.

Hours after exploring the Centre Point, we decided to go back, to check in to the apartment and at the same time take the opportunity hitting the sack a while as the flight was too early for some. The view from out lot was pleasant and I managed to get several shots from the balcony without falling off.

Modern times: Structures behind the apartment.

Marina court: Forced to face the sea.

Nature’s beauty: Carved horizons.

Not long after checking in, as the youngest in the group, I decided to take a walk around the place, hopping into my short pants and equipped with my Sony DSC-M1. I moved around the area at first, the Api-Api Centre behind my apartments and managed to stop by this sport mart that Huat recommended to me.

+10, you mean there is more than 10% discount?

To my disappointment, I wasn’t really impressed by the deals they gave, well, at least to say deals not good enough for me to flash my Green Bills and my credit cards (ahem..), so I made a move back to Centre Point. Now I get to move around freely without any obstacles from my colleagues (and of course my old man) so I can get to see what I really want to see.

Then I moved on to KK Plaza, a few blocks away then to another sport shop near the Hyatt hotel. If not mistaken its Sports Centre, They have quite a deal there but again to my disappointment, there are no size for me (my feet is huge, 11 UK, sighs).

The Supremacy: King Rooney wears ‘em.

So I made a turnaround and headed to the open market where my team was. Apparently they are out from the rooms to search for lunch.

The swordfish: what is with the cocoon?

Tears of the sky: potential disaster?

Tree in the shop: Latest architecture marvel.

Coffee Culture: Starbucks + Coffee Bean?

Open air: Coconuts, coconuts and more coconuts.

Exhausted from all the walks, I made a break at the market with a coconut to quench my thirst; I joined back the rest for lunch. We wandered around and ended up at the shop next to the one that we had our breakfast. It was too late to have lunch then and too early to have dinner. The ‘Bak kut the’ stall is opening, preparing the ingredients, so we had a light snack in the wait for our main course.

The Seremban siew pow: All the way to Sabah?

Pau zhou poh (land lady): Stylishly on the phone with eyes half closed.

Pick Lee: Cute lady with immense shopping-stamina.

We waited and waited, and finally, we had our ‘lunner’ (lunch + dinner) around 4 pm. Satisfaction is guaranteed I have to say, and sad to admit, Miri’s Bak Kut Teh just don’t cut it.

Again, it rained and we were stuck in the process again, similar to what happened this morning. We moved swiftly to the opposite block as the ladies want to shop around again, so we hopped into the nearby complex, Wisma Merdeka to do some rounds. While moving around, I came across this unique bookstore, selling used books and displaying a wide array of old and can I say ‘antique’ books. Also, it is loaded with Borneo books, so if you really want to know more about the Borneo I recon that you guys pay this bookstore a visit.

Borneo Books: Unique design and exotic environment.

My legs were about to break, and there is still no news from the ladies. Really have to respect those little legs of theirs, as they really can move like a tri-athelete when it comes to shopping.

So I gave up and so did the other few (yes, you guessed it, we guys all gave up), we decided to go home and had to pull them off their shopping shoes by force and headed back. While on the way down the escalator, I met a familiar face.. Teck Hieng?

Familiar face: what are you doing in the poster?

On the way back, one of us suddenly had the craving for KFC, so I managed to take a snapshot of this majestic KFC building to lure her..

Hmm.. Finger lickin’ good..

We stopped by Centre Point (again, 3rd time for me) to get some supplies, toothpaste and some mineral water and I bumped into this interesting signboard..

Bread story: a bedtime story about breads?

Now my legs are really falling apart, I have been walking like for 5 to 6 hours straight and I was practically dragging my feet to the very last kilometers to my apartment.

Cock and bull: very disturbing name.

Reminder from the government: Pay your taxes!!

----------------------------------------------

So it was until around 9 pm before our tummies start calling again (man, our metabolisms are really out of control). We went out again to grab a bite to eat. Trip to KK is never complete without a feast of seafood.

Shuang Tian: Paradise for seafood hunters, hell for sea creatures.

Post meal: sorry, not quick enough to get a pic of the food. Things happened too quickly.

One really really satisfied customer: so happy that she lost control of her emotions.

Later we moved around to the nearby ‘Pasar-malam’ to maybe get some souvenirs for my beloved firnds back in Miri. But sadly, nothing much seemed to catch my attention so.. sorry mates..

The Sabah Chee Chiong Kai’s: Just another place to get cheap stuffs.

Nike? Adidas? Semua ada!

Casting a shadow over original shops: who needs originals?

Our apartment was our final destination, and heck, I’m dead tired..

Johnnie Walker Swing

JOhnnie Walker is very well distinguished among the scotch whicky producers. Is a world famous brand and is produced in Kilmarnock, Scotland by a company name Diageo PLC. That is the logo above.

Despite other brands such as the Johnnie Walker black label, green label, red label or the blue label there is this which name Johnnie Walker SWing. Apart from the Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Johnnie Walker Swing absolutely a whisky to have. Below is the picture of it.
This is definitely nice to drink as it is an extremely smooth premium whisky. Swing was created in the early 2oth century by the world famous whisky blender and connoisseur - Sir Alexander Walker.

Johnnie Walker Swing

If you can see from the picture above, the bottle actually has an irregular bottome which allows the bottle to rock back and forth. Is unique isn't it? I guess they made it according to the name which was given o vice versa.

For first time drinker it may taste awful but when u really know how to drink it, is like ..... wah! i dono how to explain. hahaha... If i am not wrong is really hard to get this and is very expensive. So guys if u get a chance to drink this don't miss out the good opportunity. hahaha...:p

Germans have Ballack, Argentines have Riquelme.. Ultimate faceoff only at Astro..

wanNa watcH the GANAS Movie???

The movie from the site has been deleted unfortunately.

but there is one more access....

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yH9yabvRKnA&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Eadamkuek%2Eblogspot%2Ecom%2F

Is really a GANAS movie. The gals are really EVIL!

Beckham: Defying the law of physics?

It's already 85 minutes in the game, Madrid needs a goal to grab 3 points in the crucial run for the championship.. and this is what happened.. (not actually..)

Familiar?

I can say, no one is a stranger to this scene. Bending approximately 45 degrees from the ground, having his left arm to support the balance and a full swing of his right foot, sending the ball into air, curling between the heads and towards the goal.. Yes, he's Beckham..

This sight was once again displayed in the recent World Cup match, as Becks scored the winning goal to bring his country to the last 8, the quarter finals.. without error, the ball flew majestically, like any ball swung by him during his training and enters the top left region of the goal.. The keeper was completely outclassed and covered his face in shame as England cruised on.

Despite his free-kick and dead ball situation prowess, this is only his third free-kick goal in any World Cup tournament he played.. This means that he just joined the ranks of Pele, Klinsmann and several other legends to score from a dead ball situation, also being the first Englishman to do so..
Of course other than him, there are several other Englishmen who obviously can score more goals than him, like the infamous Gary Lineker with 10 goals of total from the World Cup tournaments he played, Geoff Hurst and Michael Owen..
So the question is; How does he do it?
'Bending' the ball, to get a curved trajectory requires the kicker to spin it; the flight of a spinning ball creates an imbalanced airflow across the surface of the ball, causing the bending of the ball's path.

Follow the instruction closely, and you will kick like Beckham..

So, by spinning the ball with your insole, you will get the ball spinning and the stronger the spin, the greater the curve, as the direction of the spin would give an impabance of pressure on the ball when travelling against the airflow..

Bending your body like Beckham.. can you do it?

The position of the body is also vital to give the right angle for the right swing. Bending his body and leaning in a very very uncompromising position gives Beckham the ability to give the kick an original look, where not many people can imitate. Think about it.. if you try it, i think you will just humiliate yourself by falling down flat on the ground.. Also, rumours say Beckham has backaches and mainly it is due to the way he kicks.. ouch.. no i don't wanna hurt my butt there..

Not to say that i have not tried the pose before, but seriously, it is not easy. However when you get the touch and the groove, the results can be rewarding.. why? People will call you 'Hey, Beckham!' Well, just make sure you don't miss a penalty like he did.. that would be so soo embarassing..

Student's pride.. where are they now?

I promise.. this post is about an 'action packed' incident which happened recently.. at the place i am currently, shame to say, living in..

Being exposed to the recent hype on school bully, it seemed that students around Sarawak also picked up such trend.. Note that recently, a video was actively distributed all over the net and somehow it made way to me courtesy of one of my ex-secondary school classmate (thanks ling...heh heh)..

Thinking that it was something exciting at first, i clicked the link without hesitation only to find, to my horror (actually not really horrific), a bunch of school girls making a scene at a PUBLIC recreational area near my residence and my favourite football spot, ganging up against one girl.. Beating and slapping, like an enraged employer whacking his accident prone maid for spilling hot coffee over his groin..

"Ni you mei jou jiang??!! You mei you?" *Slap.. *Slap

Seeing it for the first time, i felt really bad, as i've been a sudent myself, i've never ever encounter such thing, what more to say by girls. Imagine, having several beating you up, you'd be hopelessly pushed around and being physically abused..

Fast paced action is promised in this video.. so fast you can't even catch who's being slapped and who's slapping..

I mean, what are those for? even if there ARE things worth to have someone beaten up, it doesn't mean that you really should do so.. and what more to say having several people against one. Well, i believe that there are ways to settle matters, and not just slapping a person around while screaming 'wanna settle this? huh? wanna settle this?' .

After 6 minutes of craps and nonsense brought to the viewers by those idiotic students, what is left is a scar, bad impression towards these students. Believe me, its not just THAT school involved, but practically the whole city and state had its name tarnished over one incident..

Being a busybody, i also got to know that these bunch of students are being hunted around by some people, well, i presume that 'these people' are from the victim's side.. And to really be sure how famous this case had became, it was broadcasted over the radio while i was driving to see my gang for a cup of tea.. wah lau..

Over with these serious stuff, lets move on to the lighter side...

The action sequence.. Before, during and after.. well, not actually..

As i've said, after seeing it for the first time, my feelings was described as above.. then i made a mistake seeing it a few more times.. then i noticed several funny incidents...

Firstly, notice the presence of several boys?

Notice the farmost figure on the left? 'She' is actually a guy..

What are their roles in the clip? Apparently, they tried stopping the fight around 5 mins of the clip. Not to say that their actions are not respectable, but to watch the ordeal first and enjoy the bits first THEN stop it is just a huge nonsense to see.. Some can be seen just cursing and saying 'hey, enough..' but nothing is done before the fight goes on for over 5 mins..

Another scene shows one of the participants, a member of the four feisty 'spice girls', lets assume her as 'pan-ker-ai spice', flashing a so called 'act-cute' and 'presumed kawaii' peace sign with both her hands to get attention while the poor girl (the victim) is being slapped and pushed around by her 'comrades' at the background. What is all that for? Acting feisty and angry when beating the girl THEN act cute in front of the camera? Hillarious..

HI! Say peace and no war! *Slap *slap.. 'Haha, wo sot liao' (haha, i'm crazy already)

Then, the CONVERSATION.. As my friend (markie) mentioned.. all they say was.. 'Ni you mei you jiang?!' (did you say it?!) and several other foul languages.. is all so lame.. This gives an impression to the more careful viewers that despite being in form 3 or 4.. (actually i'm not so sure..), they have limited, and i say, REALLY LIMITED source of vocabulary... and to have this video displayed for international viewers, it will definitely not win them any oscar prizes for the conversation is anything but fluent and creative..

And finally, the commendable (my friend, Daniel, loves this part the most), 'international invisible palms' is so well struck on the victim's face was really the actual hi-lite of the clip. It shows another 'spice girl', well, lets call her the 'angry spice', slapped the poor girl continuously 3 times on the cheeks with tremendous power and accuracy.. DAMN, i almost mistaken her for being a professional volleyball player..

So the clip ends when several boys who once played the role of 'minnequins', came to life and pushed these two party apart... Again, a mixture of swearing and some scuffles, the victim is finally released from the brawl.. ugly, isn't it..

Thus the question is, where is the moral values of young people nowadays? Where is the sense of respect among the fellow schoolmates? Why is it so hard to make friends now and so easy to make up fights? Why did it happen in a beautiful place called Tanjung? and WHY did the rest of the students dresses in school uniform while the victim is dressed in plain clothes? Hmm.. now that have me thinking....

*too bad the clip is taken down, or i might just show you guys too.. but what the heck..

A sTory to Tell...

Phewh....
Finally.......... FINALS over n i got my FrĕĕdÖmM back. YaHoooo! TWO weeks of finals is juz like spending time in prison, no life at all.

FreeDom /'fri:dem/

Latin: libertas
Italian: libertà
Chinese: 自由 (Zhì Yóu)

Before Z finalz
When i came to learned that i am gonna have 2 weeks long of finalz i became furious and dissapointed as i was eagerly wanting to go home and meet up with my brother whom i have not seen for a year at least. In addition to the dissapointment, i came to know that 3 of me closes fwen will finish their papers within the first week of finalS.... (me then shouting UNFAIR! n throwing tentrum)

During Z finalz
Wow! this were the times where i don't have proper meals meaning eating less or sometimes don't eat, don't have enough sleep, play lots of games (eg: Poker game, TexTwist, Chuzzle etc. etc. etc.), and i guess one thing that should not miss out the most ASTRO. Muahahaha.... -_-
Oooops.. not to forget BOOKs too. Oh well! during the first week everything juz go accordingly besides of havng to feel the unsatisfactory of the finalz timetable by the school. (@#$%$* skul).
Here comes the interesting part, my 2nd week of finals.. this was the most dreadful week of my life. I had to stay at home STUDYING for my 3rd paper while 3 of me fwens went out PLAYING (eg: Bowling). Hai~~~ Ok! now when i had my 4th paper which was the last paper, guess what 2 of me fwen went back home as in no more in MIRI. I was all alone in Senadin pathetically studying for my last paper which was a total disaster in the end. One good fwen of mine was a mirian, he kindly puey me to have dinner on the 1st night of being alone. However, my 2 fwen who went back to their hometown did not stop there, they SMS me keeping me "accompany" and also encouraged me very much. Finally i scrap through this horrible and torturing environment.

After z Finalz
Me mirian fwen liak chua = catch snake (curi tulang) hahaha... :) and once again puey me go lunch then chit chat and go see his house then off to airport. That is the end.

This story may content parts where it seems like criticizing but its not its juz a story through out the 2 weeks of finalz. Don get the wrong idea ok?
**Hey guyz, thanks for pueying me n haf a nice holiday n working life tooo :p**

Mystery.. of the Da Vinci's Code..

Ah.. the tension is nerve-breaking, but yet, i am still able to blog off my ass here.. in LESS than 12 hours, i will have to endure 2 hours of case study session for Finance analysis..

Despite the stress, let me entertain you instead with the latest cinemagraphy study that we've examined yesterday.. the movie many of you know as 'The Da Vinci's Code'..

"A smile of sad woman, or just Leonardo himself?"

To start off, we, the usual bunch (names can be obtained if you look to the right side of this blog, under 'contributors'), comprising of members of 2 males and 2 females embarked a journey of 2.5 hours, full of mysteries, excitement, and most of all, shocking experiences (well, not that shocking to me as i've watched it before the release in my place here, from a pirated DVD..)..

So, many have said: For those who had read the book, will definitely be disappointed with the movie...
let's assume that what they say is the pre-screening 'hypothesis'..

"Ahh, the Loooove.. or Louvre... Gallery of masterpieces, or just plain ol' Glass pyramid like grave for the old man Souniere.."

The story began with an old man being killed by some white albino sick-old-man-murderer-bastard by the name of Silas.. Reason? To obtain some secret, so important that someone has to die for it.. well, the the next scene shows Robbie (Robert Langdon played by Tom Hanks) having a class about some sign or symbol shit stuff..

"Ah yes... and i know all students understand that middle finger is the universal symbols which surprisingly carries the SAME meaning around the globe..."

well, if i'm not mistaken, the part when Fache (some french copper) appeared in the autograph session after Robbie's class is not consistent with the book, as what SHOULD be was that the copper' went to look for him personally in Robbie's hotel room and the time is quite late... midnight maybe?

Well, anyways, that is just some minor inconsistency.. Robbie was actually summoned by this old man (who was killed) to investigate on his (the old man's) murder, apparently, but the story slowly evolves away from the 'objective' of investigating on the murder, only to discover the main objective of the quest is that to discover the sweet chick with him, who said she was that old man's (Jacques Souniere) granddaughter, was actually (quick.. start gasping) a living decendant of *JC da man...

"Hey, did anyone say that you look more like Mona Lisa than JC da man himself? And hey, some say Mona Lisa is a guy..."

The movie involves alot of mind boggling puzzle solving skills, where Robbie had to find clue by clue through various stages set by the dead old man, similar to a treasure hunt, to find the truth he may say.. The fibonacci numbers (is that how you spell it?), the word scrambling and the cryptex... sighs.. and "my grandfather gave me a wagon for my birthday..."

So what happened in the buildup of the story? You have 2 obvious choices here for you to find out more,

a) Read the damn book, or

b) Watch the blardy movie, OR

c) Ask a superspoiler friend who likes to talk about the movie and wouldn't mind doing so to tell you what exactly happened in the movie.

Another inconsistency is that there is alot of illustration given by Robbie when he is running around the Louvre, basically expaining the hidden meanings behind Da Vinci's paintings, like the Madonna of the Rocks, and the 'thing' about the Vitruvian man etc. etc... Also they cut short the scene of the escape from the Louvre where the French Chick (Sophie) blackmailed the copper to drop the gun or she'll rip the painting snd i believe there are more scenes taken out which i cannot really remember..

Overall, i guess the movie was okay, despite several critics which said otherwise, and one of the member in our group actually declared: 'Be prepared to be disappointed' loudly before entering the cinema.. which in at the end of the show he came out splurting the words 'hey.. not bad' to show the hypocritism within him.. well, dissapointment is experienced in the minimal way as the bloody cinema experienced a 10 minute technical fault similar to our PC's 'blue screen of death'.. yes, no sound and the picture jammed and went haywire.. and when it went back to normal, those blokes in the film room don't even bother to rewind the lost parts to our poor viewers.. Shame to say, Miri only has one cinema so 'beggars can't be choosers'..

One piece of advice.. if you really wanna know more, do read the book, there is so so so much more to know about.. but for those lazy bastards fellas who don't want to spend the weekend reading one thick book, then just go for the movie, its enough to entertain and fill your empty little round container above your shoulder.. Just kidding..

*JC, is the man of mankind many would say.. so i'll leave it to you to find out who he is IF YOU REALLY DON'T KNOW... sighs...

a DaY wItHouT a sMiLe..

my dear friend who having a hard time with her computer.. you better bring for medical checkup asap if not later it reach the final stages of sickness then very 'susah' cure.. ;)

A smiles seems to be the most simple thing to do yet some people think its hard to share a smile. Do you know that a simple smile will brighten someone's day??.. Its just a smile and it doesn't cost anything.. so my fellow friends if you meet a stranger o whoever just share ur smiles as it will brighten ur days as well.. ('',) don't be so selfish to share ur smile ya.. as happiness are suppose to be share with everyone..

A day without a smile seems like you are living in darkness who doesn't know how to be happy.. so when you smiles make sure it is sincere and from the heart as it will really make the rest of your days happy.. ;)

Miserabale Computer

This is a story of Compaq Evo N610c...

It never had a good life. First year with the ower the headphone went 'kaboom' and soundcard was gone FOREVER. Following year, went into ICU (Intesice Care Unit). Why?? Had critical surgeries due the critical viruSeSss... so had major operations. A couple of times actually. However the following year went smoothly. Til reasonly when the 40gb hdd heart stopped. Its a sudden death. Despite the tagedy, a bigger heart (60gb) was however replaced. The bad lists continues, the keyboard now is also not functioning properly. Every now and then it goes crazy for no reason, and this really disrupt the daily operations. Sigh...
Eventhough with the new heart replaced, is still unstable. It will have to go for another checkup to see what needs to be fix. Sad insn't.... Anywayz, for further information we will need to wait for the next checkup. Will get back asap once the test result is out.

speechless...

i can feel the immense enthusiasm within our contributors.. salute to 'man' for his 'educational' post..

Humiliation or Honour?

I believe.. that today, is one of the lowest level i've reach in my whole university life.. how do i put it..

"It all started in one fine day..."

.. would be how i would want to start the story... BUT... this start would be more appropriate..

"I've never liked Wednesday, maybe because of the weather, or perhaps the people i am going to meet on this particular day (i guess the latter is more of the choice..). Having an average sleep of less than 4-5 hours a day for continuous 1-2 weeks, i guess the last thing i want to experience is mental torture, which i will have to face in the coming several hours.

Sally (modified name to cover the REAL identity) is one of the names that had been deeply engraved into every minds of Fin students, aside from their high-school-dictator-like discipline teacher or the first kindergarten teacher who lash them with the ever-fearsome tool of punishment: 'the ROTAN'. Perhaps the most fearsome attribute which leads to such scenario is because as the discipline monters of high school and first kiddie whipper, *Sally scars most of us in a more unimaginable way.. emotionally and mentally..

Being in her class is as scary as being thrown into lion's den, not knowing when we will be torn apart and if we are to be, we will not know how she will do so. The only person who would know what she is thinking, may be her twin sister.. Yllas, the alter-evil-ego. Anyways, In normal times, she may present a sweet looking feature, but to much of a disappointment, it has always been the opposite.

* Not to start ranting on how we are being mistreated in her class, but i guess, this is perhaps the only way i can get it out of my system..

Anyway, as students are grouped in a team of 4-5 members, we are to present a case study on the subject. Given the topic for the day, i was really disappointed in the way she selected the members for me. I asked myself, 'did i just said or did anything wrong that she could do such a thing to me?' The thing is, having seen several groups before me, i see the members that she assigns are well capable, or MORE than capable, but for me, its like *sighs.. speechless.. i would rather rest my case.

As the progress started, i felt that it is not that bad after all. What lacked i guess are the ability to convey the messages that we squeezed out of our cerebelums, to let the feisty dictator understand. Very best have i tried to help out my members and in the end of the day, with relief, i thought, we have worked out well with our case study presentation.

NEVER EVER EXPECT SOMETHING BEFRE IT HAPPENS, AS THINGS HAPPEN IN THE MOST UNEXPECTED WAY.

Fast forwarding straight to the end of the show, i have to say though it was disappointing, i was satisfied. Why? Everyone is working their ass off and tried their best, so minus the language, everything seemed like a success. But what hits me was how badly she stepped on my members, 'Hey, people have dignity, so do you. If you go to India and you speak sh*t would you expect the Indians to say "i dun understand a single sh*t thing you are saying.." right? Those Chinamen are not stupid clueless because looked as if they did nothing and because of how they talked gibberish during the presentation, in fact, they may know more than you may think.. I feel the cut for my men, though fallen, but for me, they fell in an honourable way.

I guess, things can be worse than this, so thank goodness its over... Look at the bright side.. at least i was labelled as the 'superstar' of the team, so heck.. maybe that would be the highlight of the day..

This doesn't help either:
Mark: "i heard about your *class (concealed to protect a significant someone's name, and my ass). I would like to offer my deepest condolences to your now f*rked up defunct group but take heart in knowing that you did your best and that *Sally will always be... *Sally. If you've shown your effort, you shouldn't be afraid of your internal.."

Me: "haha.. what the f*rk..."

And hey, my sad-boots have been laying motionless for more than 3 days.. they are telling me that they need to go and have some fun... so do i...
